Palladium on Carbon (10% Pd)

Palladium on carbon 10% (Pd/C 10%) is a versatile catalyst for hydrogenation and cross-coupling reactions (Suzuki–Miyaura, Heck–Mizoroki, Stille), as well as various reduction and oxidation reactions. Supplied wet (~50% H2O) for safe handling; suitable for laboratory and industrial synthesis.

Applications

Palladium on activated carbon 10% (Pd/C 10%) is used as a highly active and selective catalyst in:

  • hydrogenation reactions (alkenes, alkynes, aromatic and nitro compounds);

  • cross-coupling reactions Suzuki–Miyaura, Heck–Mizoroki, and Stille;

  • debenzylation/deoxygenation processes and mild oxidation.
    The catalyst is applicable in fine organic and pharmaceutical synthesis, and can be used in microwave reactors and flow systems.

Safety and Storage
