Karstedt’s catalyst is a highly active platinum catalyst with high catalytic activity. It is widely used in addition curing crosslinking reactions between Si-Vi and Si-H. The reaction can be catalyzed efficiently and without side reactions. Betely platinum catalyst has a highly stable platinum composition with low levels of discoloration and turbidity. The product has high poison resistance, which reduces the impact of poisons such as amines, phosphines, and sulfur compounds.

Room temperature test

A. Dilute platinum catalyst with methyl silicone oil to 100 to 150 ppm

B. Prepare silicone in ratio of 500 cSt vinyl silicone oil: 0.18% hydrogen silicone oil: 150 ppm platinum catalyst = 50:6.5:0.4. Mix for 1 minute

C. Mix after 5-6 minutes and check draw
