Silver is a white, malleable metal that is easily worked. Pure silver is a fairly heavy (lighter than lead, but heavier than copper), unusually ductile metal. Because it has the highest electrical and thermal conductivity and resistance to oxidation by oxygen under normal conditions, it is used for contacts in electrical products.
